Think: Packing can be stressful…just like life.An unexamined life can be full of stuff you don’t need!

Ask: Sit back and take a hard look at your baggage (in life and for the trip). Ask God to clean it up for you!

The “packing” stage isn’t as exciting as the first day on a trip or the exciting parts of your life-but it’s still important!

Ask:

Ask God for ENDURANCE that you can handle the boring things in life as well as the exciting things.

Packing the right stuff in your bag is like trusting God to pack the right stuff in your life.

Ask God for your heart to understand what your head already knows- that He’s already there for you!

You think SHOUT’s 1 bag rule is bad? Jesus told you to take NOTHING and stay with a stranger-that’s deep faith!

Ask:

Ask God for a BOLD faith that EXPECTS Him to provide for you in life (and on your trip).

FINALLY, you get to turn it around- test (and approve) what God wants. Ask the hard questions…find out His will.

Ask God to give you clear direction in all the areas of your life (school, family, relationships).

Think:

Did you ever think to yourself “this is test from God…what if I fail”?

God only tests your inside stuff (your attitude, thoughts and emotions) not outside stuff.

Ask:

Ask God to redirect your heart (attitude, thoughts and emotions) to be more like Him.

Think:

Everything? Yep. everything. God says to test everyting to figure out what’s from Him and what is just “stuff” or “fluff”

Ask:

Ask for the energy to test EVERYTHING this week. Ask God for the ability to be patient and really test to see what is long-lasting, godly and good.

The second test-IF god is speaking are you following?

Are you just attending SHOUT or are you a Christian? Are you just AT church or are you INTO god?

Ask:

Ask God to challenge your own heart to see if you are full of faith or just full of it.

Think: The FIRST test of faith is whether you answer when God calls your name out every day. Do you hear Him calling out today?

Ask: Ask to hear God’s voice clearly today so you can follow where He wants to lead you.
